Description:
Graffiti New York : Photo Book

Remo Camerota/Whitewall Studios present Graffiti New York, the next in a series of photographic books developed for this exciting new medium the Ipad.

This edition contains a selection of photographs taken of graffiti through out the streets of New York during the Obama campaign and election to the present day. During this time I photographically documented the many facets of the New York ever changing street scene and urban Landscape, as seen through my eyes and lens, a Graffiti Artist and Photographer myself.

This Photo Book contains beautiful pieces by well known artists such as Obey, MBW, Faile, WK Interact, and overseas artists such as Banksy, C215, Fafi and many more, including some obscure artists but with fine works. But the work is not just about the graffiti, there is also much artistry gone into the photographic process making this equally an Art book about photographs and Graffiti.

This work is part of an ever growing library of Graffiti Photographs taken around the world over the past 20 years. Following the tradition from my popular selling hard copy book, Graffiti Japan, published by Mark Batty Publisher, I am now creating a series of Graffiti books for the Ipad and finally being able to publish a library bank of thousands of photographs never before seen.

The thing about Graffiti is , its there one day and gone the next. So if it doesnt get photographed, nobody sees it.
